“Absolutely Anything” starring Robin Williams opens in September

Absolutely Anything is a movie about a disillusioned schoolteacher, Neil Clarke (Simon Pegg), who is suddenly bestowed the power to do anything he wishes — by a group of aliens.

Unbeknown to Neil, the aliens (voiced by John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and Eric Idle), are watching how Neil is using his new found ability from outer space. This is all part of the aliens’ experiment to find out whether humans are capable of choosing good over evil. If not, the aliens will destroy Earth forever.

As Neil struggles with his miraculous powers, he is also trying to win the heart of the girl who lives downstairs, Catherine (Kate Beckinsale). For this, he calls upon his loyal canine companion Dennis (voiced by Robin Williams in his last-ever film role) to help him along the way.

Will Neil do the right thing and use his powers properly? Will he get the girl of his dreams? And will Dennis help him achieve his dreams, or just dream about dog biscuits? The fate of the planet depends on Neil’s actions. Absolutely Anything hits the screen on 3 Sep 2015.

Cast: Simon Pegg, Robin Williams, Kate Beckinsale
