Two breakout artistes of 2014, Meghan Trainor and Charli XCX will be performing live in Singapore this April.
Known for her chart-topping hit “All About that Bass”, Meghan Trainor will be performing live in Singapore for the very first time on 23 April 2015. The concert to be held at Resorts World Sentosa’s Hard Rock Hotel The Coliseum is part of her “That Bass Tour”. Just how big is Meghan? Let’s just say that her debut single “All About That Bass” written with Grammy-nominated producer, Kevin Kadish took the top spot in the iTunes singles chart in 58 countries. The song also topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 8 weeks, becoming the longest-running #1 hit ever released on Epic Records and beating the record set by Michael Jackson.

British singer Charli XCX who has been making waves since the release of her studio album ‘True Romance’ in 2013 will also be performing at the same venue for a one-night-only concert on 22 April 2015, a day before Trainor’s show. Charli XCX’s rapid rise to stardom was propelled by her infectious single ‘Boom Clap’, off the soundtrack of ‘The Fault In Our Stars’. Her second album ‘Sucker’ has been named the Best Pop album of 2014 by Rolling Stone magazine.
