Want to take your Star Wars movie experience this December up a notch? Why not “let the force awaken” at the latest GV @ Capitol cinema located at the historical Capitol Theatre. Although it won’t be the first movie to air in the cinema, Chris Hemsworth’s “In the Heart of the Sea” kind of beat the starfighters to it, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be shown at the single-screen cinema on its release day on 17 December.

GV @ Capitol located at the newly-renovated Capitol Theatre is a dual-purpose theatre in Singapore and has big plans to hosts both arts and film events. Touted as Southeast Asia’s largest single-screen seating cinema, GV @ Capitol can accommodate approximately 800 guests.

The restored Capitol Theatre at the junction of North Bridge Road and Stamford Road reopened earlier this year in May with “Singapura: The Musical” as its opening act. It has since then played host to movies such as “7 Letters”, “1965” and several restored movies from the 1950s to 1970s.

You can purchase your tickets to GV @ Capitol online or at the Box Office located at B1 of Capitol Theatre.
