The animated comedy will be directed by Ross Venokur from his original script and will be produced with a budget of under US$20 million, a humble amount compared to Disney’s mega-hit Frozen that cost US$150 million. ‘Charming’ reinvents the stories of three familiar princesses — Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty — in the unfamiliar plot twist of all being engaged to Prince Charming.

Slated to be released in 2016, the film’s producers are still hunting their Prince Charming.

We are sure G.E.M. is excited by her new role. Look, she even wrote a song on Sleeping Beauty (睡公主) when she was 13 years old, way before the film was even conceptualised.
