Remember the days when you’d start a game of Monopoly and never actually get down to finishing it? You’ll now get a chance to experience that all over again with the all new Game of Thrones Monopoly making its debut later this year, according to HBO.

Available in the United States for US$60 upon release, the game will feature recognisable locations from the Game of Thrones books/TV series such as Castle Black, Winterfell and King’s Landing. Chance and Community Chest decks have also been replaced by Valar Morghulis and The Iron Throne.

The playing pieces have also been customised to fit into George R. R. Martin’s fantasy world, and will feature a dragon egg, a three-eyed raven, a white walker, a direwolf, a crown and the Iron Throne. No modern accommodation in Westeros? No problem. Villages and keeps replace the iconic green houses and red hotels.

Strangely, though, the “In Jail” and “Go to Jail” squares have retained their designs, and free parking is still a thing – even in Westeros.

Game of Thrones Monopoly is recommended for those 18 and above due to the more mature themes, as well as lots and lots of death and gore.
