The dashing cast of the movie includes Louis Khoo (古天樂), Chi Lam Cheung (張智霖), Francis Ng (吳鎮宇), Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) and Amber Kuo (郭采潔). Triumph In The Skies was originally a two-part TV series by Hong Kong TVB. Fans of the series will know that Khoo, Sheh and Kuo are new additions to the production.

Sparks will fly in the movie as couples Khoo and Sheh, and Kuo and Captain Cool ‘Cheung’ play out their romance stories on film.

On playing her role as Khoo’s love interest, Sheh was quoted on as saying that she was so taken by Khoo’s handsome, good looks, it was hard for her to concentrate on the acting, adding the romantic locations and sceneries they shot in helped her focus.

Kuo said she was equally mesmerised by Captain Cool’s suave ways and at times felt ‘electrified’ by his eye contact. Kuo said she eventually came to regard Cheung as a caring brother. She also knows she is the envy of many girls for having the opportunity to act alongside the gentle and charming pilot.

Singer Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文) also stars in the movie, which will be released on Chinese New Year, 19 February 2015.
