Weird Al Yankovic Word Crimes
N!ce t!p

Weird Al Yankovic is back with a new album, Mandatory Fun and we couldn’t be happier. In the midst of releasing 8 videos over 8 days to promote his new album, Al dropped this new gem on us today, Word Crimes. Have a gander below.

This delightful parody of Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines sees Weird Al waxing lyrical about punctuation, grammar and pronouns amongst others. Whilst watching the video, all I could think of was “Oh God, I hope he doesn’t namedrop one of my cardinal writing sins.”  Thankfully, he didn’t.

Weird Al also released his first video yesterday, Tacky, a parody of Pharrell’s Happy that’s armed with a bagful of cameos from Aisha Tyler, Margaret Cho, Eric Stonestreet, Kristen Schaal and Jack Black.

Sorry, Ed Hardy fans. Or rampant meal Instagrammers.

Much better than #Thicke
