It was reportedly Faye Wong’s idea for Leah Dou to launch her first English album in Japan, as the singer thinks that her daughter’s indie style will be more readily accepted in a country like Japan.

While it’s too early to say if Leah will make it big in the music industry, she certainly has a good head start given that she has musically inclined parents like Faye Wong and Dou Wei (窦唯).
