China sets up first-ever exclusive sidewalk for phone addicts

    by -

Calling all phone addicts – here’s a sidewalk designed exclusively for you.

The Chinese city of Chongqing has set up a lane specially painted for people who have their eyes glued to the phone screen while walking.

Separate from the rest of the pavement, the lane, said to be the world’s first, has images of mobile phones spray-painted on the sidewalk, with arrows indicating which direction to walk in as the pedestrians use their mobiles.

Dedicated lanes for Singapore’s phone addicts too, maybe?
