If you are a fan of Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 and Surface books but is holding out on a larger storage capacity, you are in luck. Microsoft has just delivered the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book models in 1TB. Other than shipping with the huge SSD capacity, these new models will also run on an Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB of RAM.
For those who felt that previous models of the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Books are pricey will be disappointed to know that the new lineup will be even more out of reach. The 1TB Surface Pro 4 is going for a hefty US$2,699, while the Surface Book is priced at US$3,199. Given the current currency exchange rate, Singaporeans are expected to fork out nearly S$3,900 for the Surface Pro 4 and S$4,600 for the Surface Book available only in the U.S. and Canada.
The Surface Pen has also been given a new coat of paint in gold. Unfortunately, the pen with 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity is currently only sold in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the US. No announcement has been made on when the new 1TB Surface Pro 4, Surface Books and Surface Pen will go on sale in Singapore but we are betting on it to be available in the first half of 2016.
